These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the website at https://www.dg-legal.com (the “Website”), operated by DG Legal Law & Consultancy (“DG Legal”). By visiting or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Website.
1. Nature of the Website Content
The articles, news items, descriptions of practice areas and all other content published on the Website are provided for general information purposes only. They do not constitute a legal opinion, legal advice or a recommendation regarding any particular matter and should not be relied upon as such. If you are facing a legal issue, you should seek professional advice from a lawyer who can assess the specific circumstances of your case.
The content has been prepared on the basis of the legislation and case law in force on the date of publication and may have become outdated as a result of subsequent legislative amendments or court decisions. DG Legal does not warrant that the content is at all times current, complete or free from error.
In accordance with the Attorneys' Act No. 1136, the Professional Rules of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations and the Regulation on the Prohibition of Advertising, the Website is published solely for presentation and information purposes and does not constitute advertising aimed at soliciting clients.
2. Attorney–Client Relationship
Visiting the Website, reading its content, or sending us a message through the contact or eConsultant forms or by e-mail does not, in itself, establish an attorney–client relationship between you and DG Legal. Such a relationship is established only after your request has been reviewed and accepted, by the signing of a written engagement agreement setting out the scope of the services and the fees and, where required, the granting of a power of attorney.
Please do not send confidential or sensitive information or documents through the Website before an attorney–client relationship has been established. Information provided at this stage may prevent us from accepting the matter should a conflict of interest be identified.
3. Contact and eConsultant Forms
The information you submit through the forms must be accurate, up to date and your own. If you submit a request on behalf of another person or one containing another person's personal data, you confirm that you have the necessary authority and legal basis to do so.
Requests are reviewed as promptly as possible; however, DG Legal is under no obligation to respond to every request or to accept every matter. We expressly remind you that a message sent through the Website has no effect of interrupting or preserving any time limit, such as a limitation or preclusion period or a hearing date, and that in such urgent matters you should contact us by telephone.
The forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile verification to prevent misuse and automated submissions.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual and industrial property rights in the content of the Website, including texts, articles, images, logos and trademarks, design and software, belong to DG Legal or to the respective right holders and are protected under the applicable legislation, in particular the Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works No. 5846 and the Industrial Property Law No. 6769.
The content may be quoted for personal and non-commercial purposes, provided that the source is clearly acknowledged and a link to the relevant page of the Website is given. Otherwise, copying, reproducing, modifying, distributing or using the content for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of DG Legal is prohibited.
5. User Obligations
When using the Website, you agree:
- not to use the Website for purposes contrary to law, public morality or these Terms of Use;
- not to undertake any action that may disrupt the operation of the Website, overload it or compromise its security (including viruses and malicious software, attempts at unauthorised access and automated data collection tools);
- not to submit through the forms any content that is misleading, offensive, infringes the rights of third parties or constitutes unsolicited commercial communication;
- not to use another person's identity or contact details without authorisation.
In the event of a breach of these rules, DG Legal reserves the right to restrict access to the Website and to pursue legal remedies.
6. Third-Party Links and Services
The Website may contain links to third-party websites and to map and social media services. These links are provided for convenience only; DG Legal is not responsible for the content, security or privacy practices of third-party websites. The use of such websites is subject to the terms of the respective third parties.
Paid services offered by DG Legal through the Website or via the platforms of its business partners are subject to the separate terms set out in the relevant service agreement.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Website and its content are provided “as is”. DG Legal does not warrant that the Website will operate without interruption or error, or that it will be free from viruses or other harmful components. To the extent permitted by applicable law, DG Legal shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from the use of or inability to use the Website, from decisions made in reliance on its content, or from third-party links. Liability that cannot be limited by law remains unaffected.
8. Protection of Personal Data and Cookies
